Lara!
Honey, it's kind of hard to contact you when you don't actually leave, y'know, contact details. Email me, okay?
I am a mean and cruel cat mommy -- and it's GOOD
Is it wrong to enjoy waking Jordan out of a sound sleep? I mean, the little bastard does it to me every morning, so turn about is fair play, right?
It's not my fault that he has a high startle reflex, truly. And he shouldn't be sleeping on my pillow anyway -- and I wonder why I can't breathe at night.
I am da WOMAN

laps. I'm just sayin'. And I can't even honestly say that I was really
exhausted or anything (granted, I take a breather after every 15 laps,
so it's not continuous cardio). Maybe my ultimate goal of 100 laps isn't
that cray-cray after all.
And the new goggles I picked up at Academy Sports also helped a lot (note to self -- do not buy cheapo Speedo goggles at Walgreen's and expect them to last). What I'd really like to do is get some prescription goggles -- I'm kicking myself for not picking them up when I was in the store that sold them, and of course now I can't remember where that store was (Texas? Chicago? Sweden? Damn you, CRS...). At least scrip goggles are like drugstore reading glasses -- they come in a variety of strengths, so you just find whatever works on your eyes, no doc's visit needed. And of course because my eyes aren't equally blind I'd have to buy two pairs and mix 'n' match them.
In the meantime, however, the Aqua Sphere goggles are perfectly lovely, and it's nice to swim without a slow leak. And now, I must go shower, then collapse.
Meanwhile, out on the Left Coast...
