Whoa, Auntie Em!

Ever so slightly windy here last night and today (holding up the "SARCASM" sign, re THE BIG BANG THEORY) -- the hail and thunder hit here around 2 AM, and I mean hit, to the point where I stayed up just to make sure that we wouldn't have to throw the Boys into a laundry basket and flee from a funnel cloud.

The sound and fury died down to plain old sprinkles and a hell of a breeze by the time the sun came up, which was a goodness. Less pleasant, however, was the abrupt dizziness and nausea that hit mid-afternoon -- the same damn symptoms that I had last week. Lyndon said that he feels that way when he's been in the house for two or more days without going outside -- we're not sure if it's low-level allergies to the Boys, some sort of mold/spore issue or what. But we decided to shampoo the carpets again next weekend, and this time we're doing the bedroom as well -- Lord knows JJ has hurled upon the carpet numerous times, and if nothing else it could really use the cleaning.

Apart from that, I've got nothing -- read, wrote, edited, knitted for a bit, looked for jobs, and that's about it. I still have to make up my mind who I'm going to vote for in the Democratic primary in a couple of weeks, so I need to do some in-depth research into that.

So what's up with you people?
