Nifty discoveries: Both Seelie and Unseelie Sidhe can be godmothers; they just get assigned to the appropriate personalities. For instance, Lottie is good friends with Michaela, an Unseelie fairy godmother assigned to a globehopping celebrity with a penchant for adoption and tattooing. Michaela, who looks like an ethereal Tyra Banks with a taste for designer animal skins, thinks that Lottie was unfairly suspended and funnels inside information to her as necessary. She also thinks Lottie desperately needs a wardrobe makeover.
Unfortunate realizations: I don't really like putting my characters through hell, even though that's what's required for dramatic effect. I think I'm just too softhearted, sometimes.
