The Muse is back, and man, she's pissed
Mainly because she has to get off her lazy butt and do some work for a change, thanks to a LiveJournal community called Novel_in_90 (a more leisurely form of NaNoWriMo, where you write 750 words a day for 90 days, ideally winding up with 67,500 words at the end of it all). Since I'm all about the public mocking, I'm back on track with UNDERCOVER GODMOTHER, and in fact have churned out more than my required word count for the day, which is all good.

Granted, I was on king hell killer cold meds at the time, so God only knows if they're any good. However, I'm being very cruel to Lottie -- she's glumly contemplating a huge pile of letters addressed to her advice columist persona and bemoaning the lack of common sense in 90% of the human race. Heh, heh, heh...

Ahhh...it feels good. Now I have the rest of the afternoon to...work on contract stuff. Crap.
On the plus side, I did pick up a metal foil vent hose for the dryer, so once that's installed I can push the dryer back into position, which will be nice. And sometime tomorrow I have to drum up the wherewithall to take down the Christmas tree. Whee...
