It's February already?
Man. All this week I've been working late at the day job, then going straight home, hooking up the PC and doing work for the Client, then grabbing a half hour at the gym and maybe something to eat before falling into bed around 12 or 1. That was after the Weekend of Running Around Like a Loon when I hauled the cat to the vet, got the new Dyson, vacuumed the entire place, did the food shopping, got my Nin90 word count done, did laundry and cleaned out my office.
As of last night, the Client work was completed and checked back in, after I was very tempted to drive to the ir location and have Words(TM) engineers who asked me AFTER I'd logged out and put away my PC to check the help pages into a specific area. I ground my teeth, fired up the PC, logged back in...and found out that I'd already done this, AND I'd informed them of it (I gave them a partial path to the source files -- so I didn't detail it right down to the damn directory, so sue me). My email reply was, um, crisp. After THAT, I updated a website for one of my long-time clients. Tonight I need to do some work for Helix and update another client's website, and then...I can relax. Sorta. After I get my Nin90 word quota done and do some more editing on Best Protection, and run a couple more loads through the laundry, and do thirty minutes on the treadmill.
I told Lyndon that I am not doing ANYTHING that smacks of work on Saturday. No food shopping, no running of furballs anywhere, no cleaning, no nothing. I may crochet, or read, or sleep, I dunno. What I do know is that I am one tired bunny.
