Oooerg, Part Deux

It was another insanely busy day at work (I was the only tech writer on site, someone needed documentation edited NOW, you do the math) and I more than earned my Golden Goddess of Tech Writing crown so let's put that graphic up, eh?

Thank Boombah that Photoshop can fix any number of boo-boos, that's all I have to say. And now, I have a long, lovely weekend ahead of me in which I need to do laundry, housework and writing on both UG and a project that needs to be turned in a week from today. Of course, now that I've publically announced this, our apartment will be overrun by fire ants or I'll get a panicked phone call from a client begging me to do a fix NOW because Fate needs a laugh as much as anyone else.

On the plus side of things, Lyndon's kilt from Clansman Knitwear arrived yesterday (it's the full 8 yards of tartan kilt, as shown at left, in the Fletcher tartan, shown at right -- and yes, there's a Fletcher tartan), and indeed the kiltmaker went with his actual waist size at the fitting instead of the smaller size Lyndon requested -- I'm guessing he didn't believe Lyndon's statement that he'd be going down a couple of pants sizes Real Soon Now. As the Bodacious Brit has indeed going down a couple of pants sizes, and woohoo for him, the kilt is now just a tiny bit too big. He can wear it with a chain belt to help hold it up, but if he loses any more weight I'm going to have to pluck up a wee dram o' courage and take that sucker in for him.

But it does look good on him. He's going to get a proper Prince Charlie jacket for it so he can wear it as formal dress, and right now he's concentrating on picking up the accoutrements for the renfaire (i.e. a sporran and claymore).

Oh, and yes, I know it's Friday the 13th. Apart from it being somewhat rainy this morning, however, it's been absolutely fine for me (and 13 has always been a lucky number for me, so there).
