Woohoo!

As of today, Novel_in_90 is finished, and I've more than made the final required word count. And ohboy there were a couple of weeks in there where I wrote bubkes due to Real Life(TM) infringing. But I caught up on my quota, and while I still have about 11.5K to go, 79,527 is not a shabby word count at all.

However, the edits for Sabre Dance arrived today, which means that I'll be spending the weekend working on those, since, hey, it's already sold and I'll get paid for this one. Speaking of SD, I sent an email to Mitch Foust, the artist doing the cover, basically squeeing all over the place that he was doing the art (I really do like his stuff). He wrote back saying that he wanted to a character pose rather than something from a scene (fine with me), wanted to have it ready by the end of May so that he could take prints (PRINTS!) with him to ComicCon in July, and did I have any ideas about the cover?

Soooooo -- I told him about the two fight scenes where Adrianne is in dance costume (one is also in skin-darkening makeup and black curly wig), gave him a physical description, then told him that she LIKES to fight and I could easily see an evil grin on her face when she faces an opponent.

I have the impression that this is gonna be GOOD.
