BEST PROTECTION Update

Not quite as spectacular as I would have liked by now, but
at least I'm past the halfway point (and I actually wrote a lot more than 395
words, but I also took OUT a lot of stuff, hence the seemingly small wordcount)
The second half of the novella will be much easier to write than the first
half, anyway, since that's the bit with the nailbiting escapes, exciting swordfights
and plans not quite coming together.
Of course, I'll have to go back and do some character exposition for Davide (my Onyx Order cleric) -- I have lots of stuff from Adrianne's POV, but since he's supposed to be shadowing her until he gets nabbed by the Vizir's guards, it might be nice to show that at some point, hmm?
