Happy birthday, Michael!
Today is my little brother's 35th birthday -- whee! Gotta call him this weekend and wish him a happy birthday, yes yes...
It's going to be a busy two months
Actually, it's going to be an insanely busy two weeks and an interesting six weeks. My regular web client is moving to a new host (their old hosting company turned out to be greedy pooheads), and in addition to facilitating that I also have to set up a new shopping cart function for them, load it with items and get it hooked up to a card processing company and merchant account. Ideally, this should be done before the end of the month.
My ex-boss from the Hellmouth asked if I could whomp up some HTML pages for a new app -- 7 pages, to be done between March 20 and 28. Also, I'm updating some Quick Start Guides for them right now, and there's the rumor of more help pages and manuals for new and updated apps on the horizon. For those of you playing at home, that makes two clients and three projects to be completed before 3/31/06.
Yet another client asked if I could do help pages for a new app. Luckily this has a 5-8 week timespan, and the app itself only has four major screens and maybe a couple of minor ones, so I can start work on it once I get the worst of the first three projects out of the way.
And this doesn't take into account the current writing project, which requires a K a day. Speaking of that, here's the current wordcount:

Unfortunately, I'm a K behind where I want to be, so I really need to kick some ass tomorrow, as the weekend will be taken up with car repairs, the Dallas Quilt Festival and setting up the web client's new site. Phoo. As my ex-boss said, I'm going to be a tired rich person once all this is done (and I'm really, REALLY going to need that long weekend break in Seattle).
