Pardon my language, but...
Holy fucking shit! I cracked 100K!

The climax is underway! The perky society matron has decided to get in on the action, despite my best intentions! Shit is about to go down, and the end is in sight! Woohoo!
Oh, by the way -- the REASON why I'm so excited about this is that I've been working on this novel on and off for the last nine years. The basic premise is good, and I really want to write it, but for various reasons it's always gotten stalled, redirected or in some way delayed. Thus, the very fact that I'm about to finish it is making me very happy -- with any luck it'll finally see print, and it also dispels any doubts (and yes, there are some) in my mind that I can write a full-length novel.
And in other good news
Step
Three on the Road to Being Debt-Free has been achieved, tra-la -- as of today
I zeroed out my personal credit card (except for the attglobal.net ISP charge,
which happened after I scheduled my payment, but I'll take care of that next
week). Now I just have the BOA card to clear off, which should be done in two
paychecks, and I will be one fiscally happy (and attractive to potential mortgage
lenders) puppy.
Of course, one wonders if this will come to the attention of Homeland Security. Honest, guys, I'm just paying off the charges I racked up for my niece's dollhouse, nothing more.
