Is incredible physical clumsiness a sign of getting old?

I have no idea why, but I've been slamming into things lately. And I mean slamming, like a roller derby chick taking down someone on the opposite team. I'd be tootling along, thinking about work or dinner or something I've got to do, and next thing I know I'm clutching a body part and howing in pain. As a result both elbows are scraped and bruised, my shoulders are all banged up, and you don't even want to see my legs. It's as if my brain somehow lost my body image and is using backup files from 1983 (yes, I was a lot smaller then, as shown at left. *sigh* -- to be that size again).

I dunno -- maybe I'm distracted (ya think?). Everything else seems to be working properly -- no tremors, muscle weakness, etc. -- so I don't think there's a physiological cause for it. If this keeps up, though, I may have a new career ahead of me -- Big Red, the Terror of the Rink.

Hmm. That could actually be fun.

Anyway, what else? Oh, yeah, I'm puttering around and doing the run-up for Apollocon this weekend (which will include a read trip -- yay!). Speaking of puttering, here's my schedule for the con:
