Yes, it's the Five Weird Habits Meme!

Vera Nazarian tagged me with the five weird habits meme. It goes like this: The Rules: The first player of this game starts with the topic "five weird habits" and people who get tagged need to write an entry about their five weird habits as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next five people to be tagged and link to their web journals. I'll skip the tagging five people bit, but here are five of my weirder habits:

1. The closet door must be closed when I'm sleeping. Bathroom door can be open, bedroom door pretty much HAS to stay open because of Da Boyz, but the closet door must be firmly closed. When my beloved pointed out the illogicalness of this, I told him that he'll be damn grateful when the demons living in the closet can only pound on the door in a fury because they can't get into the bedroom.

2. I have odd bedding arrangements. I sleep with the blankets wrapped around me, a number of pillows arranged in a wedge shape, another feather pillow handy where I can wedge it against the small of my back, my teddy bear (what?), and a towel over my eyes. Lyndon calls me the Greater Nesting Female.

3. I always want to know where I'm going. When driving somewhere on a long-distance trip, I MUST have the route worked out in advance, and preferably a hotel reserved for the night, otherwise I get very tense and upset. OCD, ya think?

4. Liver sausage sandwiches must be cut on the diagonal. I cut no other sandwich, either horizontally or diagonally. Oh, and by preference they should be eaten with kosher dill pickles and potato chips.

5. I like to drive around at night, preferably between midnight and 4:00 AM. I don't need a specific destination -- I just like to be out in my car, roaming through dark neighborhoods.

So now you know.
