Lots of sleep
Well,
I didn't exercise yesterday, mainly because my heart was hiccuping again (my
quaint name for premature ventricular contractions) and I really just wanted
to fall over and sleep. Considering that I proceeded to sleep from 5:00 PM
ro 7:00 PM, then from 11:00 PM to 12:00 PM today, then from 2:00 PM to 6:00
PM -- Jesus, Allah and Joseph, that's 19 hours.
Dunno if this was plain old exhaustion, a migraine or some sort of bug (there's a vicious flu bug going around at the moment, and one of the people in my department just nursed her daughter through it, so there's one contraction vector) -- hell, for all I know it could've been some combination thereof. But man, it knocked me on my ass.
And yes, I'm being a good girl and taking my Toprol, not that it does much from what I can tell (big fucking surprise -- apparently metformin and ibuprofen interfere with it. Guess which drugs I take every day, and will not stop taking any time in the near future? Yeah, you're good) since the heart is still hiccuping a bit. Screw it -- I feel somewhat better now, to the point where I intend to do the weights I missed yesterday plus today's cardio.
Damn -- I was going to add something, but I'm watching an old George Carlin routine (HBO or someone actually interrupted it before the final section to warn people that it contained objectional language. People, this is GEORGE CARLIN, the champion of the Seven Words You Can't Say On Television. Does "Duh" mean anything to you?) and it went straight out my somewhat clouded mind. Knitting? No. Writing? No. Nevermind -- if it's important, I'll add it later.
Did I mention that I was somewhat distracted? Yeah.
OH yeah -- I just fired off a check to MBNA America (actually, I fired off a lot of checks -- I do love it when I have all the bills paid off for the month) that pays off this laptop in its entirety. I now own my car and my laptop -- the only major bills I have now are my two credit cards, one of which will be paid off by the first week in March, and the other by the end of March. Holy fucking shit, I feel like such a grownup.
