If tonight is Tuesday...
It must be HOUSE night. Mmm, but I do love a man in a tuxedo, especially when he's a little rumpled-looking from a hard night's work.
In other news, I've finally dug down deep, found a set of ovaries, and started work on that site that's been scaring the bejesus out of me. So far, all I've done is make sure I have the old site archived on my machine and start uploading files to the new site -- after I test it and make sure everything's working properly, I'll contact the registrar and get the DNS changed to the new site. After all, I gotta get this up and running by next week before we go to Seattle.
Oh, did I mention that? Yes, the Bodacious Brit and I are going to Seattle for an extended weekend/minibreak. Neither of us have ever been there before, and judging from the tourism website we're going to be spoiled for choice of stuff to do (after Dallas, that's going to be an odd adjustment). I really want to hit the Science Fiction Museum at the Space Needle, and he's interested in the Wooden Ships Museum -- if anyone has any other suggestions, please feel free to make them.
Lyndon also said wistfully that he hoped it was raining when we got there, because he really misses walking around in the cold and wet. I just checked the forecast -- it's raining all this week, and friends who are locals said that it'll probably be raining next week, too. He should be one happy Brit. Me, I'm going to find a nice pair of waterproof shoes and bring my umbrella.
On the writing side of things, I have one story done (need to finish editing it tonight, but I figure I can pop it in the mail tomorrow morning), which leaves me with one story, one novella and one novel to go. Hey, baby steps are sometimes the only way to stay sane.
