It's over
May Terri Schiavo rest in peace, and may the rest of us not suffer for the crappy legislation that is almost sure to be attempted in the wake of her death.
Get your living wills set up, people.
Update on the neti pot and sinus rinsing
1) I'm still getting. . .matter. . .out of my sinuses. Whoa. And ick.
2) I'm sleeping all the way through the night, now. I used to wake up a couple of times a night, glance at the clock, roll over and go back to sleep, rinse and repeat until morning. Now, I go to sleep and don't wake up until Jordan decides to start whining or sit on my head around 6:30 AM. I don't think I have sleep apnea, because I don't think something like this could cure it, but I can only assume that I AM breathing better and this helps me to sleep.
3) My sense of smell has most definitely improved, to the point where I notice some really foul reeks on the way in to work, someone in my cubicle area is using a perfume or cologne with a green undernote, someone else is drinking coffee, etcetera etcetera.
4) The cats stare at me when I rinse my sinuses. They're fascinated by Mom's new parlor trick -- spitting water out of the middle of my face. Hey, anything to keep them entertained.
In other news, Lyndon should be returning from Atlanta tomorrow, I'm still slogging through the project that should have been turned in a couple of weeks ago, and am somewhat frazzled as a result,
