Say it with me, peeps -- it's Friday
And it's payday, which means I can toss some money at the credit card, pay the rent and include the new lease for another six months. And let us all hope that in six months we'll finally be moving into a house of our own, because if I have to live above another tribe of screamers in the foreseeable future There Will Be Trouble (the only good thing about this is that the most recent tribe moved out a couple of weeks ago).
Speaking of the foreseeable future, however, the Bodacious Brit has accepted a contract with his former employer, so as of next week he starts babysitting test switches from 3:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Not the greatest hours, true, but the money is nice and it gives him daylight hours in which to shop and get personal stuff done, so he's satisfied with it. And if we can swing it that he sleeps while I'm at work and I sleep while he's at work, then we get to spend the rest of the time together, which is always a goodness.
