And as we say goodbye to winter
I find myself wondering what the summer is going to be like -- granted, it's been chilly for the last couple of days, but the fact that we had temps in the 80s in February does not bode well for a mild summer. In the meantime, Arizona and Los Angeles are drowning in rain, and Seattle is facing low snowpack and a drought this summer.
You wanna tell me again why global warning is just a myth, George? I'd really like to hear this one.
In the meantime, however, it's busy time at the Fletcher manse. Lyndon is refamiliarizing himself with all the TBS stuff he needs to know for switch repair, since there's a good chance he'll have to go out on site again sometime this week, Me, I'm either writing, cleaning or doing laundry (yeah, yeah, I know I talk about laundry a lot. It forms a large part of my life, okay?). The goal is to have the Benbella essay finished by Friday, and to spend the weekend busting a move on the novella.
Which reminds me -- I have to get in contact with the various models I want to use for the cover and see if they can come over next weekend for a photo shoot. Now if I could only find an attractive young woman in her late teens/early twenties, everything would be set.
Oh, and the gut seems to be settling down on the Metformin issue a bit. It still sounds like Krakatoa getting ready to blow its lid in there, but at least the end product isn't quite as...fluid...as it was over the weekend. Always a plus.
