It's amazing, what you find when you clean your office

Namely, half-finished stories on the desktop machine. One that was supposed to be a contest entry, one that was supposed to be for the zeppelin anthology last year, and both of them pretty damn good. I wasn't in a horror mood, so I started noodling with the contest entry and realized how I could fix it.

I love it when that happens.

From a strictly housekeeping point of view, I didn't get nearly the amount of cleaning I wanted done, but all the laundry is finished, one duvet is done, our bathroom is half-cleaned (I had to cease and desist because Lyndon needed to shower before he went to bed), the larder is stocked and an eyelash yarn scarf I made for a friend is in the mail. I even had a chance to pull out the wire jewelry kit and play around with some wire designs (all due to Laura Underwood and her tales of beading).

And now, since I can't do any more cleaning, I'm gonna write. Whee!
