Good Lord -- what DID I do today?
I'm
trying to think of a single post-worthy thing I did, and bubkes is coming up.
Cleaned a bit (since the Comcast guy is coming on Monday to install our cable
box and modem, and it would be nice if he could actually get into my office),
read some more of Elizabeth Moon's MARQUE AND REPRISAL, exercised, went shopping
for quilting fabric and canvas (I'm making a replacement liner for our 3-pocket
laundry sorter, since I am NOT spending $35 to replace it just because the liner
is shredding -- by the way, Jamie, I picked up some really nice blue fabric
for your quilt, and yes, I'd be happy to participate in the A-Kon writer's track),
and. . .
. . .um. . .
. . .thinking. . .
. . .yep, that's about it. Well, it's Saturday, and the only day I'm going to have off this weekend, so I suppose it's appropriate that I puttered around doing mindless, relaxing, inconsequential stuff.
Lyndon, on the other hand, was an impressive whirlwind of activity -- he spent the morning on the computer, the afternoon combing the local shops for useful items (and reported that my favorite antique mall had been evicted from its former digs due to Wallyworld wanting its store back, so now it's somewhere on 75 and Park, I think), and the evening transferring more things onto DVD. He's currently on the couch enjoying the chance to stay up late and watch some of his haul of new DVDs -- the smart boy bought THE MADNESS OF KING GEORGE III, so I get to indulge myself in some Ian ogling, yay.
