Iiiinteresting...

I really should keep exercising on a regular basis, if only because Lyndon keeps turning to me and exclaiming, "You look SO girly and beautiful!" prior to sweeping me in his arms for a big kiss. Not that he doesn't do that on a regular basis already, but it's the look of amazed appreciation in his eyes that's nice. And one of the regular cooks at B.D.'s Mongolian Grill looked at me today and said, "You look different, what is it?" Heh.

I don't think there's been any significant weight loss yet, especially since the Crimson Tide isn't over until tomorrow so I'm lugging around a couple of pounds of water weight, but I do feel a heckuva lot better; stronger, more responsive (jeez, I sound like a car commercial). And I think that must translate into how I carry myself, hence the comments.

Although I do notice that the muscles in my legs are coming back up quite nicely. Now if I can just strip off some of the goo that covers them, I'll be a happy camper.

Aaaand in writing news...

Here's my counter for the current project:

Pathetic, ain't it? But it IS getting better, and I'd really like to hit 10K by the end of the day. Right now, I have my protagonist being read the riot act by a dance troupe leader for subduing two armed thieves by herself -- the protagonist is SUPPOSED to be undercover, the dance mistress reminds her, not running around acting like a member of a certain military organization. And then the dance mistress demands that she turns over her knives. This is really gonna hurt.

Later: Well, I didn't hit 10K, mainly because I worked on the dollhouse when I got home, then had to do some client stuff. But hey, I added a little over a K today, so that's something, right?
