That gust of wind in the North Dallas area
Is me sighing in relief -- after our previous CPA bailed on us this week, a colleague recommended another CPA. The paperwork is currently in his hands, and I should be hearing from him early next week for signing and such.
Even if we have to pay something, it's just such a relief to know the paperwork is in progress and OUT OF MY HANDS. Now I just have to finish that novella. . .
Meanwhile, down in Harlingen, Lyndon is currently wandering around South Padre Island, taking in the Gulf air and waiting for his tummy to settle (he ate something that didn't agree with him). He called me to comment that while Harlingen reminded him of Cleethorpes (aka more rundown than he would've expected), it was close to the sea and might be a good place for a weekend getaway, when he said, "Oh, WOW! I just saw a pair of dolphins jump into the air really close to the shore!"
I think he's happy, being that close to the sea. Brits aren't meant to be landlocked.
