It's a perfect day, Elise
The day dawned bright and a heck of a lot cooler than yesterday, which was just fine. Lyndon found out that a guy who had info he'd be needing in Atlanta was in the Ericsson building, and dashed out to confab with him while I worked on the contract document and washed bedding.
When he came home, he reminded me that we were supposed to go to Target and pick up a new CD case for him, so we piled in the Hoosiermobile and headed out. Yes, he could've gone by himself, but we wanted to spend as much time together this weekend as possible. And it worked perfectly, because after Target and a brief duck into Staples for a notebook, I suggested dinner at a local Middle Eastern joint, which appealed to him.
So we headed over there -- apparently it was Persian New Year, so Lyn indulged in chicken kebabs and special dill rice while I had the gyros platter and we both browsed on hummus and tsatsiki. As he ate, I sat there watching him, memorizing the way his eyes looked in late afternoon sunlight (he has gorgeous eyes, by the way -- green on the outer rim and brown on the inner rim. The ratio of colors change depending on his mood) and everything else about him. He finally looked up and grinned, asking me what I was doing. I explained, and he blushed a bit and grinned even more.
Yes, we're disgusting and sappy and all that. And you have no earthly idea how much I'm going to miss him.
