Things are in motion
Lyndon has his plane ticket for Monday morning, and he's found a relatively cheap residential hotel -- combined with car rental, it'll be slightly over his per diem but until we can come up with a solution for the car problem (such as carpooling with another contractor), it'll work. This weekend he'll burrow into the books and do a fast refresher on all the stuff he'll be doing in Atlanta, sort through what he wants to bring home this time and pack. And Monday morning, he takes off for his re-entry into the working population.
I, in the meantime, will be shopping around for a good accountant (because it's a 1099 job, he'll have to take care of his own taxes, and I'd rather have a pro go over the books and tell us what we need to do) and filing an extension on our 2003 taxes because I still haven't gotten some paperwork and I'm not waiting until the last minute, thank you very much. God, I feel so grown up.
Oh, and he'll be home in two weeks, and I'll be going to Atlanta for the weekend two weeks after that. The cats are gonna be so confused. . .
So, what do y'all have planned for the weekend?
