TCIF

Yes, things are definitely on an upswing -- it's Friday, it's payday (not that I get to play with any of it, as it's slated for the rent and car insurance, but still) and I got a healthy chunky of stuff done at work, so I feel good about it. I'm going to spend the bulk of the weekend working on the contract -- between things getting so hectic during this day this past week and the plague that I caught, I think I'll need to ask for an additional week, unfortunately. I like turning things in when I say I will. Bah.

However, there was an amusing moment from this morning -- the alarm went off, and I felt Lyndon shaking my arm. When I opened my eyes and looked up at my beloved, he was standing over me in jeans and a rugby shirt.

"Mrrph -- you're already dressed," I said in bleary surprise.

"Um. . .I haven't gone to bed yet," he said sheepishly.

Apparently he was up all night trying to format a hard drive for one of his minilaptops, which wound up including transplantation of the hard drive to another machine and other fun and games. Silly person.
