Cleaning, if you please
Spritz rub rub spritz rub peer rub again move move oh THAT'S where that is spritz rub sprinkle scrub scrub pause SCRUB SCRUB rinse rinse peer RINSE wipe dry move move spritz damn where did all this dust come from wipe wipe put away trash trash put away spritz wipe.
And now the main bathroom counter and mirror is done -- I just have the toilet, tub and enclosure and floor to defur and clean.
*sigh* The only bad thing about letting your place go for so long is that the clean-up job is intense and takes all weekend. Lyndon already cleaned the little bathroom and is going to clean the living room and kitchen, while I do the main bathroom, bedroom, foyer and steps. I figure I'll clean my room (which DESPERATELY needs it) sometime tomorrow, because tonight I have to finish an essay and get it off to the editor.
At least we got a good, solid night's sleep with tons of weird dreams. And the cats slept with us, which was an interesting experience as usual (I woke up two or three times to open the bathroom door so that Jordan would stop scratching at it, or scratch Jordan under the chin. Notice that MY cat lets me sleep. Bah).
And more cleaning
Okay, the cabinets under the sink have been cleaned, the toilet is pristine, the tub and enclosure are sparkling, and the floor has been vacuumed in preparation for mopping. I am now taking a break because my back has started to spasm from being bent over so much, and I don't really feel like spending the rest of the weekend flat on it due to muscle problems (well, yeah, that WOULD be nice, but not when the place is so messy -- it would just make me feel guilty.
Although if I could
be presented with Godiva. . .
