*creak*

Yeah, I'm still alive. You would not believe how busy the last week has been, and it hasn't stopped yet. I'm writing this at 6:26 AM because this has been the only time I've had to update this journal. When it rains, it pours, you know?

The weekend was cold but nice -- got some shots of snowmen and other cold-weather things around the complex, and I'll post them as soon as I have a chance to process them. We had a nice V-day dinner at home, and President's Day was spent working on the contract stuff and trying to finish a story for a zeppelin-themed anthology (my muse hates me -- she dropped this on me the day BEFORE the deadline), which wasn't finished so I'll need to complete it sometime next week when I get free time again.

This week, I've been in meetings all day and working on the contract stuff at night, and I'm still not sleeping well so I had a faint moment yesterday at the boardroom table, which was Not Fun. I'm hoping my sleep cycle straightens itself out toot sweet, because I'm getting really fed up with wandering around like a zombie (and no, I don't know what's causing it, but I'm on the verge of dosing myself with melatonin, despite the morning grogginess). Oh, and this weekend is ConDFW, which I'm really looking forward to but also means I won't have any down time until late next week.

I'll sleep when I'm dead, right? Of course right. Oy. . .
