Oh, bleurgh
My brain, being the sadistic 3-pound lump of grey matter that it is, decided that it didn't want to settle down until 4:00 AM this morning. As a result, I'm staggering around like a zombie and looking forward to going home to an early bed tonight.
The
dollhouse: I was aiming to have the shell put together by yesterday, but I was
asked to help out with some organizational duties on Saturday and what was supposed
to be a four-hour chore turned into a 9.5 hour monster that ate Saturday from
5:00 PM Ęto 1:00 AM and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Oy. But it's done and
I've earned a hot fudge sundae, so that's good. I did get the lower front clapboarded
and painted, all the trim and windows are painted (I need to do some fine work
still), and two windows have had their gingerbread trim attached. I have to
say, this is going to be one little kickass miniature shop.
On the financial front, all the bills went out today, and I just put a chunk of money on the credit cards. At this rate, I should have the computer paid off by next month (a goodness) and the credit card zeroed out by July or so (also a goodness). Next month, I have the front brakes replaced, and then I get to start saving for Invisaligns.
It's good to have an employed spouse again. And I get to see him this weekend in Atlanta, whee!
