Oh, my butt hurts
Which is unsurprising, considering that I spent almost a straight six hours sitting on it while working on the Elizabeth Moon interview. However, the pain was worth it -- the interview is a 3,000K thing of beauty, refulgent with the solid intelligence and sparkling wit that makes Elizabeth, well, Elizabeth. She's fact checking it right now while I work with her webmistress to get a high-resolution picture of her for the mag.
Lyndon wound up reading parts of it over my shoulder, and commented later that my interview writing skills are getting to be quite good. It's funny, but I really think I have this journal to thank for that -- if you think about it, NCaFG is really just an unpaid column, and the skills I need for writing it (putting my thoughts down in some logical format, getting my point across in a literate manner, etc.) translate beautifully into writing interviews.
So this racks up
a second notch on my interviewing credits -- wonder who I can inveigle into
my web next?
