Busy busy busy busy busy. . .
Woof. This weekend was spent getting various websites I maintain. . .well, maintained. I had a slew of edits and updates to make to the WebRats page, invitations to send out to potential members and other general tidying duties. But I have done them, and everyone is happy. Speaking of that, allow me to give a big ol' warm welcome to our newest WebRats Shannon, Dayle, Paul, Allan, Thomas and Julie. Welcome to the den!
When I wasn't doing that, I was working on the first interview I've written since college. It's overdue, the editor is tapping her foot, and the interviewee has let me know that this is a Very Big Thing for him. But no pressure. It was almost a relief to come into work this morning. Of course, as a result of being up until 3:00 AM this morning I'm drooling on the keyboard. Welcome to my world.
Oh, speaking of work, I had a dream this morning where I was standing in my cubicle at work and changing into my dance practice outfit. No embarrassment about it, by the way -- I did it like it was the most natural thing in the world. At the point where I was pretty much stripped down to skin, the guy in the cubicle next to mine (no, not Steve -- the guy on the OTHER side) walks by, grins cheerfully and says, "Now, this is the kind of thing I can support in the workplace."
I think this is
a sign of an improving body image. Either that, or some latent exhibitionist
qualities are starting to surface.
