And as we say goodbye to January

The heavens have decided to open and pour down on the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. This, after yesterday's fog that was causing lots o' accidents all over the Dallas metro area (I have mentioned before that your average Dallasian driver doesn't understand the concept of, "Appropriate driving conditions," right?). Oh, and temps are supposed to go down to the 20's this weekend.

Whee. The only nice thing about all this is that I don't have to shift my ass out of bed tomorrow, since I have a day between the end of my contract and the beginning of my -- ta-da! -- permanent job working for the Client.

A permanent job. It has a lovely ring to it, doesn't it?
