Oh, this is gonna be interesting

I'm heading to San Diego tomorrow on business. Because botht he lady who does the ticket booking and I were out sick last week, we weren't able to book a vacation package where the flight and hotel were all wrapped up and paid for by the company. Instead, they bought a flight on Frontier Airlines (which means I get to change in Devner), and we're still trying to book a hotel for me.

Right now, I'm more worried about the flight. This is my schedule for tomorow:

4:00 AM CST -- wake up, finish packing, do whatever ablutions are necessary.

5:00 AM CST -- head out for the airport.

5:45 AM CST -- arrive at airport and check in.

7:00 AM CST -- take off on first leg to Denver.

7:55 AM MST -- arrive in Denver, wait for second leg to San Diego.

9:00 AM MST -- take off on second leg to SD.

10:20 AM PST -- arrive in San Diego. Find taxi, get to hotel, check in, then head to office for afternoon of learning new tool.

All in all, what with time changes and everything, I'm going to be spending a total amount of eight hours just getting my ass from Dallas to San Diego. Then I'm expected to go in and work. Aiigh.

The flight back is going to be even more special -- I won't get back to Dallas until 10:30 PM Saturday night. I think Sunday is going to be dedicated to sleep, sleep and more sleep. And then maybe I'll sleep just to top it all off.

How do I get myself into these things?
