Hump Day, so to speak

*sigh* I need to bite the bullet and get our taxes done sometime this week. I'm dreading it because I'm pretty damn sure that I'm going to be writing a large check to the government, and I hate the idea of draining the little bit of savings I have in my account to do this.

But it has to be done. At least Lyndon should be getting a fairly nice return this year -- he took no deductions, so I'm pretty sure he'll get a largish lump sum back from the IRS. Me, I'll be squealing like a pig by Monday, most likely. At least it isn't Sweden -- I'm grateful for small favors. And with any luck I'll be able to build the savings back up in the next couple of months, just in time to go to ConJose and blow it all again. Hey, don't ever tell me that I don't have a plan.

And since nothing else of interest happened today, allow me to offer a link to one of the funniest men on the planet, Michael Kelly. Go, read, laugh your head off (and if you're female, relatively comely and resident in England, please take him to bed. He needs it).
