Fear and Loathing on the North Dallas Tollway

First off, thanks to Nance for giving me a heads-up about my screwed up calendar. I have no idea how that happened, but the dates should now be on the correct days.

That was the bright spot of the day. Well, no, to be honest I was actually in a pretty good mood on the way out -- I'd gotten a shitload of work done on one of my projects and was thisclose to being ready to deliver (I'd also ended the workday on a Blues Brothers note, which always perks me up as I dance towards the car). We'd also had a nice lunch at Crystal's, and I racked up the high score on the free throw machine afterwards (which was captured on film, thanks to the Man from McKinney's new video camera. Nance wants me to digitize it and put it up here. Um, I'll think about it).
