And the weekend is here once again

So what am I planning? Firstly, I think I'll be going to the Texas State Fair tomorrow to ride the Texas Star (the biggest standing Ferris Wheel on the North American continent), wander about the midway, look at the livestock, check out the Creative Arts displays (quilts -- yeah!), and sample Fletcher's corn dogs, since Bill has been raving about them since the fair opened last week. Personally, I don't understand the appeal of putting a hot dog on a stick, dunking it in cornbread batter and deep-frying it, but hey, I'm willing to try anything once.

Don't go there, people.

Secondly, I want to get a slew of writing done -- I now have two stories that have gone through FutureClassics and need to have the suggestions incorporated (or, in the case of "Dragons at the Gate," needs to be completely rewritten). And then there are the novels that are crying out for a little bit of attention, ahem ahem.

Thirdly -- sleep. SLEEEEEEEEEP. The gentle embrace of Morpheus, the bliss of insensate relaxation, and no call for me to do any kind of technical documentation. Selah.
