At least the mother is finished

Gotta make this a quick one, kids -- I need to head over to Lee Martindale's to be indoctrinated into the secrets of her home alarm system, then I need to finish shoving clothes into my wheely bag and vacuuming the last of the crap off the kitchen floor.

However -- tra la -- I finished Trystan's quilt. My fingers look like hamburger and I only caught on to the trick of the "rocking" motion as I was doing the echo quilting around the edge of the main pattern (which means the stitches on the bottom side are kinda big in spots), but it's done and, in my humble opinion, is a thing of beauty and a joy forever. And yes, I'll post pictures when I get a chance, which isn't now.

Talk to y'all on Wedensday!
