Happy Friday the 13th.

Well, nothing bad happened to me other than feeling tired and yucky. As I was still recovering from the medication withdrawal and the big problem at work couldn't be cleared up until Monday anyway, I just took the day off sick and slept for most of it. Woke up feeling a heck of a lot better (around 4:00 pm, unfortunately), and went in here to work on MUNCHKIN. As of 4:31 pm this afternoon, I cracked the 20K limit. According to SFWA, this is now officially classed as a novel. Hey, since I'm putting it on a newsgroup, does that mean that I can now introduce myself as a published novelist?

Yeah, I didn't think so, either. :-)

Oh, well -- back to work on this magnum opus. Let's see if I can get it done and dusted by the end of the weekend. And for anyone who's interested in reading it, you can find all the parts via Deja.com by putting "alt.culture.fabulous" and "The Media Munchkin Strikes Back" in as search parameters. Caution: if you're a dedicated STAR WARS fan, dedicated Leonardo DiCaprio fan, homophobic, close-minded, or simply lack a sense of humor, you might want to give it a miss -- it'll just raise your blood pressure and give you a migraine.
